The Detroit Tigers Have Underachieved So Far This Season !

The Detroit Tigers have been so up and down this season that I get motion sickness watching them. I really feel this team is better than their record shows. So far this season has been very frustrating. They have lost many one run games. The Cleveland Indians have swept them so far this season.

But, now Sanchez has been demoted to the bullpen. Which is a good thing? The Tigers have to kick it in soon. Their bullpen has been awful. These guys have stunk so far on the mound. It was weeks ago that the Tigers lost multiple games and most people felt that manager Brad Ausmus would be fired. But, the Tigers turned it around and won multiple games in a row and got back in the race.

Now after a dismal west coast trip they come back to Motown for a strong home stand. This team has gotten a shot in the arm since Cameron Maybin has joined the team after his broken wrist heeled. They also have had strong pitching outings from Fulmer. Some players have had very good season so far, but others have just stunk up the place. The Detroit Tigers added $200 million in payroll in the off season. This franchise so far has gotten taken to the cleaners. This team has to play better baseball, that's the bottom line.
