When you're talking about sports teams in this country who are snake bit, you are definitely talking about the Chicago Cubs.

This franchise has not been to the World Series in over 100 years. This franchise has stunk, to be to blunt. I love the Cubs, but a fact is a fact.

When you think of the Cubs you think of some great players that have been there who just couldn't get it done. In the past you have had Ryne Sandberg, Gary Matthews, Rick Sutcliffe, Dennis Eckersley, Old-timers like Ernie Banks, Ron Santo and Billy Williams. Some of those guys are Hall Of Famers. Yet this team hasn't been to the World Series in that crazy time span.

The Chicago Cubs are cellar dwellers, meaning they are always stuck in the basement in last place. Then there was the Steve Bartman incident, where a fan named Steve Bartman hindered the catch of a foul ball on former Cub Moises Alou during the NLCS. This opened up the flood gates for the Florida Marlins to defeat them. The Marlins went on to beat the Yankees to win the World Series. That's what I'm talking about when I say this franchise is snake bit.

Everyone loves the Cubs, Wrigley Field, and Wrigleyville, but the Cubs still smell.
