When you're talking about riots, Michigan State University has to be in the conversation.

It was another sports related riot in East Lansing by students. I am a person that has grown up in this area, and I think this is old and awful!  Saturday night and early Sunday, in the aftermath of the Spartans win over the Buckeyes, a few couches were lit on fire as droves of people took to the streets to celebrate.

There were 57 fires lit, and a lot of property destruction. Fifteen people got arrested, 12 of them MSU students. This isn't the first time this has happened at MSU. Hopefully, it will be the last time. This past Monday, MSU and the city of East Lansing offered up to $20,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators.

Again, the postgame parties have to stop turning into riots, because sooner or later someone will die. We all should remember the Kent State riots and no one wants that ever again. So this is a public plea to all students at MSU, stop defaming your school!  These riots are nothing but a black eye for everyone. STOP IT NOW!
