In their first true road game this season, the 16th ranked Michigan State Women's Basketball team were down by as much as 23 but managed to get within five with under a minute to go in the game, however the 19th ranked Georgia Lady Bulldogs made their free throws down the stretch and defeated Michigan State 69-60 Sunday afternoon at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, GA. Michigan State (5-2) was plagued by 27% shooting in the first half and was only 4-21 from the three point line. Aerial Powers led all scorers with a game high 18, Tori Jankoska scored 16 and Jasmine Hines added 11. Becca Mills pulled down 10 rebounds before fouling out. Georgia (10-0) was led by Tiaria Griffin who scored 15.
