We asked, and you answered, choosing a rematch of two 10-0 teams who both were undefeated when they clashed in a great game a year ago.

Lansing Sexton's home district title showdown with Saginaw Swan Valley won our latest listener poll, meaning Nick Chase and Jack Ebling will broadcast the Division 4 bout live Friday evening on The Game 730 AM.

More on the game, and the one it beat out for our broadcast honors:

  • Saginaw Swan Valley (10-0) at Lansing Sexton (10-0): A rematch of last year's epic regional championship the Big Reds won 26-21. These two teams also were undefeated when they clashed last season (11-0), and Sexton had to score late in the fourth quarter to come back and win at home. Swan Valley's star running back Alex Grace gashed the usually stout Big Red defense for 200-plus yards. The Western Michigan University commit is back again this season--will Sexton be able to contain him?
  • Olivet (8-2) at Lansing Catholic (10-0): The undefeated Cougars host Olivet, whom they've met twice before, both times in the playoffs. Catholic lost the most recent matchup in 2012's opening round. The Cougars beat Olivet in the previous season's opening round.
Thanks again for voting! Be sure to tune in this Friday evening!
