AM Outdoors with Duran Martinez

Saturday: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM

From the trails, woods and waters of Michigan comes Mid Michigan's only live, interactive outdoors radio program.

Bringing the issues and concerns of today to a two hour weekly radio program, host Duran Martinez brings a lifetime passion of hunting and fishing along with the issues facing Michigan's outdoors community together with the experts in their respected fields.

Tough issues like invasive species in the Great Lakes, the proposed increases in Michigan hunting and fishing licenses, and the dove bill have been just a few of the political issues that have been the subject of heated discussion in the past with many more to come.

AM Outdoors has also been host to many great guests in its short history. Tom Nelson, host of television’s American Archer is a recurring guest offering many helpful tips to novice bow hunters and well seasoned alike. Other past guests have included the likes of outdoors television icon, Babe Winkelman, Michigan rockers and avid outdoorsmen Ted Nugent and Mark Farner (formerly of Grand Funk Railroad) plus countless men and women representing a huge number of groups and agencies that bring us all together to educate and be educated about the outdoors.

Join Duran Martinez every Saturday morning from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, on Lansing's Sports Station, The Game 730 AM WVFN.
