In an interview with ESPN's "Get Up" TV program on Wednesday morning, former NBA and college basketball coach Rick Pitino revealed that he is finished in the coaching profession.

Pitino was on "Get Up" to promote his new autobiography "Pitino: My Story".

The Hall of Fame coach was fired at the University of Louisville a year ago in the wake of the FBI investigation into the Louisville basketball program (as well as other programs).

The Cardinals vacated their 2013 National Championship (when they beat Michigan in the National Title game) after an assistant coach hired strippers to entertain players and potential recruits.

Pitino coached previously at Boston University, Providence, Kentucky, and Louisville in college.  He coached in the NBA with the New York Knicks (as an assistant and as a head coach) and then with the Boston Celtics.
