Report: Tigers, Giants Talking J.D. Martinez Trade?

The MLB Network's Jon Paul Morosi is reporting that the Detroit Tigers and San Francisco Giants have had talks in regards to a possible trade involving Tigers right fielder J.D. Martinez.  This goes back to this past week's general manager's meetings.

Tigers general manager Al Avila has made it public this offseason that the team is in a cost-cutting mode.  The team traded center fielder Cameron Maybin to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim earlier this month.
