ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the Toronto Raptors have fired their head coach, Dwane Casey, after seven seasons at the helm in Toronto.

Casey led the Raptors to the Eastern Conference's top seed with a 59-23 record, but they were eliminated in the second round of the NBA Playoffs by the Cleveland Cavaliers earlier this week in a four-game sweep.

He is the second head coach to be fired by an NBA team this week.  The Detroit Pistons let go of team President and Head Coach Stan Van Gundy back on Tuesday afternoon.

Atlanta and Orlando are the other NBA head coaching positions still open.  The New York Knicks hired former Memphis Grizzlies coach David Fizdale earlier this week.
