On Wednesday, the Detroit Red Wings signed their remaining restricted free agent in goaltender Petr Mrazek.

CBC's Elliotte Friedman says it's a two-year deal worth $8 million.  Mrazek split time last season in goal with Jimmy Howard.  Mrazek took over for Howard in net for Game 3 of the Red Wings first-round playoff series with Tampa Bay.

Mrazek was 27-16-6 with a 2.33 goals against average this past season.  He was drafted by the Red Wings in the 5th round of the 2010 Entry Draft.
