Red Wings Recall Bertuzzi, Put Helm on IR

The Detroit Red Wings have brought back forward Tyler Bertuzzi (pictured) from the AHL's Grand Rapids Griffins.  He replaces the injured Darren Helm, who was put on Long-Term Injured Reserve on Thursday morning.

Helm was injured in Tuesday night's 4-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning at Joe Louis Arena, and he is expected to be out at least for the next six weeks.

Forward Thomas Vanek is expected to return to the Red Wings lineup this weekend, he's been out with an injury as well.
