Legendary East Lansing High School running back Randy Kinder (Class of ’93) joined the AM Game Plan with Beanie and Brock on Friday morning to discuss Friday afternoon’s college announcement of fellow East Lansing Trojan Brandon Johns (Class of ’18).
Johns is widely considered the No. 1player in the state of Michigan entering his senior season. He is rated No. 40 on the ESPN 100 for the Class of 2018. He’s ranked 54th according to 247sports.com and rated 100th by scout.com. Johns is expected to commit to Michigan this afternoon.
Kinder was a member of the East Lansing Class A state championship team in 1991 (Randy’s junior year), and went to Notre Dame over his hometown MSU. So Randy has a unique perspective on the Johns announcement and how similar their two situations are.
