Raiders Sign QB Carr To Contract Extension
Multiple media outlets are reporting that the Oakland Raiders have agreed to a five-year contract extension worth $125 million with starting QB Derek Carr.
Carr is entering the final year of his rookie contract in 2017. This deal keeps him in the Silver and Black through the 2022 season.
The fourth-year man was injured late in the 2016 season and he missed the Raiders AFC Wild Card playoff game against the Houston Texans.
Derek tweeted out his relief earlier on Thursday morning:
Now it's done ! From the jump I've wanted to be a Raider 4 life. One step closer to that! Blessed!!! Business done! Let's just play now!!!
