ESPN announced on Tuesday that Peyton Manning, one of the all-time great QB's in NFL history, will host the 25th annual ESPY awards set for later this summer in Los Angeles.

Manning retired from the NFL after the 2015 season.  He played for the Indianapolis Colts from 1998-2011, and then he finished his career with the Denver Broncos from 2012-2015.

The two-time Super Bowl has hosted major TV programs before.  He hosted NBC's Saturday Night Live back in 2007.
