The Florida State Seminoles are ranked #1 in the B.C.S., and will play Auburn for the National Championship. The Seminoles success has been in part with the emergence of red-shirt quarterback Jameis Winston. Winston is on the verge of winning the coveted Heisman Trophy on December 14th in New York.

The Seminoles are the only unbeaten team left and have dominated all season long. Jameis Winston has been a great leading his team, and making sweet plays. Florida State's head coach is Jimbo Fisher, who is a disciple of Nick Saben. He has done a marvelous job, and Jameis Winston's Seminoles are 13-0 and are the most solid team so far this year. Jameis Winston's season stats are 3,820 yds, 38 TDS,10 INTS, and ran for 4 TDS. From Week 1,he has been overcoming every problem he has faced. Winston leads the nation in passer rating and yards per attempt.

Jameis Winston also found himself in a terrible situation until last week. He was almost charged with a rape charge. There was not enough information found to move on with any formal proceedings. It had to be a dark cloud hanging over Winston and the Florida State football program. For performance on the field there is no reason why Jameis  Winston doesn't win the Heisman Trophy.
