Kentucky Derby winner Nyquist will not race in the June 11th Belmont Stakes, the final jewel in horse racing's Triple Crown.

The Daily Racing Form is reporting that the horse's white blood cell count is too high.  Nyquist suffered from a fever after winning April's Florida Derby.

The Derby winner finished third in last Saturday's Preakness Stakes behind Exaggerator and Cherry Wine.
