Notre Dame QB Book Out For FSU Game

Multiple media outlets are reporting that Notre Dame junior quarterback Ian Book (pictured) will not play this Saturday night for the Fighting Irish against Florida State in South Bend due to injury.

Book reportedly suffered the injury during last Saturday's victory over Northwestern, according to Irish Sports Daily. If Book doesn't play, senior Brandon Wimbush, who Book replaced earlier this season, would likely play in Ian's place.

The Fighting Irish are 9-0 on the season, and are ranked 3rd in the current College Football Playoff rankings.
