The New York Giants have made the first head coach firing of 2017 with the dismissal on Monday morning of Head Coach Ben McAdoo, NFL.com is reporting.

The team also announced that they are firing General Manager Jerry Reese as well.

The Giants are 2-10 on the season after their 24-17 loss to the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.  McAdoo and Reese had been under heavy criticism after the benching of longtime starting QB Eli Manning a week ago.

No replacement for McAdoo has been named as of yet.
