During Thanksgiving week in 2017 Michigan State men's basketball will play in the inaugural Phil Knight Invitational - PK80, according to ESPN.  Phil Knight, the chairman of and co-founder of Nike will celebrate his 80th birthday in 2017.

The tournament games will be played in the Rose Quarter’s Moda Center and Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

The tournament will consist of 16 teams making it one of the biggest regular season tournaments.  The teams in the field are Arkansas, Butler, Connecticut, Duke, Florida, Georgetown, Gonzaga, Michigan State, North Carolina, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Portland, Portland State, Stanford and Texas.

The field is pretty loaded as 10 of the 16 schools have won a NCAA title and nine of the past 13 National Champions are in the field.

And you guessed it, they are all Nike schools.
