Michigan State Head Football Coach Mark Dantonio released a statement through the university Athletic Department today, stating that Junior-to-be Running Back Delton Williams has been suspended from the football team. No official details surrounding the events that led to Dantonio's decision have been announced. But, collegespun.com says Williams was lodged in the Ingham County Jail Monday. Bleacher Report cites "a reliable source" that says Williams brandished a gun in a road rage incident. The release made public this afternoon simply states this quote from Dantonio: "Delton Williams has been suspended indefinitely from all team-related activities."

Williams is a two year letterman, and was MSU's third leading rusher in 2014, compiling 316 yards on 54 carries. He also scored a career best 5 touchdowns in 2014. His career totals 92 carries for 554 yards and six touchdowns in 22 games.
