The Number 10 ranked Michigan State Spartans are Big Ten Football Champions after defeating Number 2 Ohio State 34-24 in Indianapolis Saturday Night, punching their ticket to The Rose Bowl for the first time since 1988. It will mark MSU's first ever trip to a BCS Bowl, where they will face the Pacific-12 Champion Stanford Cardinal.

MSU Quarterback Connor Cook was named the game's Most Valuable Player after completing 24/40 passes for a season-high 304 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 1 interception. Running Back Jeremy Langford carried the ball 24 times for 128 yards, the first back to eclipse the 100-yard mark this season against the Ohio State Defense. Langford had a late 26-yard touchdown run to help seal the win.
