MSU Hockey: Spartans Advance to GLI Final With 2-0 Win Over Ferris State

The MSU Hockey team beat Ferris State tonight in  the Great Lakes Invitational at Joe Louis Arena, 2-0.

The game was scoreless until early in the 2nd period when Brent Darnell scored a goal. The Spartans kept their one goal lead until one minute left in the 3rd period when Tomas Ebbing scored on the empty net.

The Spartans move onto the final round of the GLI Monday night where they'll face archrival Michigan. Pregame coverage starts at 6:30 p.m. On Lansing's Lansing's Big Talker, 1240 AM, WJIM.
