The Boston College Eagles beat the MSU Spartans tonight at Munn Ice Arena tonight, 3-2. The Eagles got on the board first early in the 1st period after Zach Sanford scored a goal 39 seconds after the first face off. They added onto their lead when Matthew Gaudreau scored again. The Spartans got on the board in the 2nd Period when Mike Ferrantino scored a goal, Joe Cox on the assist. The Eagles wouldn't take that lying down, with a Quinn Smith goal about halfway into the second. The Spartans fought back with a Matt DeBlouw goal, but it wasn't enough to hold the Eagles back. The Spartans travel to Columbus, Ohio on Thursday, the 20th, to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes, pregame coverage starts at 6:30 on Lansing's Sports Network, The Game, 730 AM, WVFN.
