The Michigan State Men's Basketball team earned their 20th win on the season Wednesday night with a 72-66 win over Purdue (19-11, 11-6) on Senior Night at the Breslin Center. Travis Trice led the Spartans (20-10, 11-6) tying a career high in scoring with 27 points, to go along with 6 assists, in his final home game at Michigan State. Junior Denzel Valentine added 17 points and 6 rebounds, while Sophomore Matt Costello came up big off the bench with 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Branden Dawson missed a good portion of the game, leaving in the first half with concussion-like symptoms after taking an elbow.

Kendall Stephens led Purdue with 16 points. Dakota Mathias added 12 points and 6 rebounds for the Boilermakers.

The win puts MSU in much better shape in the eyes of bracketologists, and breaks a two-game losing skid. The Spartans will travel to Indiana (19-11, 9-8) Saturday for the regular season finale. Tipoff is set for noon Saturday, with pre-game coverage at 11:00AM on Lansing's Big Talker 1240 WJIM and Classic Rock 94.9 WMMQ.
