Michigan State football is getting ready for their annual Green and White Game. These games are around the country, celebrating the end of Spring Football practices. This year's game should be quite interesting.

Mark Dantonio has really done an excellent job since taking over for the past coach. This year's team is coming off a remarkable comeback win in the Cotton Bowl. MSU is led by two outstanding players in quarterback Connor Cook and defensive end Shilique Calhoun.

The Green and White game is quite a big deal in the area. Toe to leather begins at 2 p.m., with many things for families and kids leading up to the game. This year Spartan fans are going to want to see this team lift the bar even farther. Gone is their defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi, who is now the head coach at Pittsburgh. I really believe that the Big Ten will be stronger this year. Thee Ohio State won the National Championship with a third string quarterback and Michigan has a new head coach in Jim Harbaugh.

Any way you dice or slice it, MSU is now on the right winning track. Oh yeah, they have some foibles, but Mark Dantonio has gotten this program back to being respectable. He has made me into a believer.
