MLive's Kyle Austin is reporting that the Michigan State University football program is in the planning stages of a $5-$8 million renovation of the Skandalaris Center (The Duffy Daugherty Football Building).

The last renovation of the football building was in 2008, when it was renamed the Skandalaris Center.

If the MSU Board of Trustees approves the renovation later this year, construction would begin after the 2018 football season, and be finished next August, right when 2019 fall practice begins.
