The New York Yankees have struck again, signing former Bosox player,Jacoby Ellsbury, to a seven-year contract for $153 million dollars. The Yankees are starting to fortify their roster again, also signing all-star catcher, Brian McCann, formerly of the Braves. Jacoby was part of winning the World Series with the Red Sox . This brash move will make the Boston fan base go bonkers. Everyone should know of the intense rivalry between the Red Sox and Yankees. Ellsbury brings a player with speed, defense, pop in his bat, and a proven leadoff hitter. After spending his first seven years with Boston, Ellsbury will be moving to the Bronx.
