MIS Gets New Title Sponsor For August NASCAR Race

Michigan International Speedway announced on Thursday that the annual August NASCAR race at M.I.S. has been renamed the Consumers Energy 400.

It had been called the Pure Michigan 400 for the last several years, last year's August race was won by Kyle Larson (pictured above).  This year's race will be on August 12th.

MIS will still host the annual June race, the Firekeepers Casino 400, which will be run on Father's Day weekend in the Irish Hills near Jackson.
