Mike Zimmer Returns To Vikings

Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer (pictured) has been cleared to return to the team following emergency eye surgery, and is expected to coach the team against the Jacksonville Jaguars next Sunday.  A news conference is expected to make it official on Monday.

The third-year head coach did not coach his team in their loss to the Dallas Cowboys last Thursday.  Special teams coach Mike Priefer coached in Zimmer's place. The Vikings are 6-6 and tied for second in the NFC North.
