UPDATE: Michigan State Verbal Commit Reopens Recruitment On National Signing Day

UPDATE: According to 247Sports Mike Wilson, Robertson is facing misdemeanor battery charges stemming from a January incident. He has a hearing scheduled for February 11.

Auston Robertson, a four-star defensive end from Fort Wayne, Indiana announced via his Twitter account that he has reopened his recruitment.

Robertson verbally committed to Michigan State University last June.  He is 6'5", and 250 lbs.  Scout.com has him as the 107th rated player in the class of 2016.  He's rated as the 13th best defensive end by the same publication.

Michigan State is expected to be in the top 15 nationwide in terms of recruiting classes.
