Michigan State has reportedly yanked a scholarship offer from a 2016 offensive lineman who had an undisclosed flirtation with Ohio State.

247Sports.com reports MSU rescinded its offer to Gavin Cupp after the 6-foot-5, 270-pounder from Ohio attended the Buckeyes' Friday Night Lights camps, a well known recruiting event, over the weekend, without disclosing that to the Spartan coaching staff.

Cupp is a three-star prospect, according to several recruiting services. He committed to MSU in mid-May and visited the Spartans as recently as last month, according to 247Sports. He reportedly has visited Ohio State several times in the past but has not received an offer from the Buckeyes.

The move gives MSU 19 recruits in its 2016 class, including two offensive linemen.
