Well, in one week the Spartan football team will be challenged to the fullest. This team will travel to Columbus, Ohio to take on "Thee" Ohio State Buckeyes.

The Buckeyes are the defending National Champs of all college football. This team is still loaded with great football players. This team will be led by their quarterback J.T. Barrett. Barrett is coming off an OWI charge two weeks ago.

Last year, J.T. was injured during the course of the season. He was having a Heismanesque season. Then he was replaced by Cardale Jones and they won the National Championship with a third string quarterback, because Barrett was starting while their superstar Braxton Miller was out for the season. Ohio State is coached by one of the best in the football business--he is Ohio native Urban Meyer. Meyer has now won three college championships. He had won two at Florida when he was the Gators' head coach.

Mark Dantonio also is an Ohio native. He was the Buckeyes defensive coordinator when they won a national championship with Jim Tressel in 2002.

This is the bottom line: a majority of media members and fans don't think the Spartans can beat "Thee" Ohio State Buckeyes in their backyard because the Spartans' defensive backs have gotten torched all season long. I say not so fast! Mark Dantonio isn't going away yet. Hey all you skeptics--I know who you are!
