Despite not quite living up to expectations as head coach of the University of Michigan, Fox Sports college football analyst, Brady Quinn alleged Michigan is working on a "lifetime contract".

97.1 The Ticket's Mike Sullivan says Quinn's revelations came during a Fox Sports Radio segment with Jonas Knox. Quinn reportedly doubled down on the idea that his source spoke of a lifetime contract.

According to Sullivan, Quinn's comments were "I talked to someone who's kind of an insider within that program and we had a long, drawn out conversation. What he told me was they're working on a lifetime contract. I swear to you, that was his words."

Quinn said he couldn't get much more information from his source beyond that.

Though Harbaugh's time at Michigan has been markedly better than his predecessors Brady Hoke and Rich Rodriguez, he still lacks a signature win Wolverine fans would like.

In three seasons, he has a 1-2 record against Michigan State and 0-3 record against Big Ten East rival Ohio State.

Quinn's news comes as rumors swirl Harbaugh might be mulling a return to NFL coaching.
