Five years after losing to Louisville in the NCAA Tournament Finals, the University of Michigan is back in the Final Four.

Saturday, the Wolverines defeated the Florida State Seminoles in the Elite Eight round of the tournament, 58-54.

The win marks the second time Michigan head basketball coach John Beilein has made it to the tournament semi-finals.

Though the 2013 campaign ended with a Michigan loss in the finals, Louisville had its championship win vacated leaving the Wolverines in an place.

Michigan will go on to play Loyola University Chicago next weekend at the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX.

No. 11 seeded Loyola-Chicago is a top fan favorite from this year's March Madness largely due to the help of 98-year-old nun Sister Jean Dolores-Schmidt.

Sister Jean made her national debut as a televised fan in Loyola-Chicago's nail-biting first round win against the University of Miami.

Despite Loyola-Chicago having the internet on its side, No. 3 Michigan should take solace in the fact that it's a heavy favorite that hasn't lost since February.
