Michigan Basketball To Play LSU In Maui Invitational

The defending Big Ten Tournament champion Michigan Wolverine basketball team will play Louisiana State University (LSU) in the opening round of the Maui Invitational this coming November 20th, according to mgoblue.com.

The Wolverines are the current Big Ten Tournament champions and they advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament this past March.

The Maui Invitational is one of the most prestigious tournaments that occur in the non-conference season.  Michigan State won this tournament back in 1991, Michigan took the title in 1988.
