According to Vice Sports, the Miami Marlins have hired former Los Angeles Dodgers manager and New York Yankees great Don Mattingly as the team's new manager.

He would replace Dan Jennings in that role.  Jennings took over for Mike Redmond after Redmond was fired this past May.

Mattingly led the Dodgers to the National League West title in 2015 and had a 55% winning percentage in LA.

The Marlins were 71-91 in 2015.
