Michigan State Football is coming off one of their best seasons ever. They won the Rose Bowl and ended up in third place in the country. With a playoff system in place last year, State could have won it all.

The 2014 season is almost upon all of us. The Spartans open up August 29th versus Jacksonville St. MSU should clobber them, but the second game gets much more difficult. MSU has to travel to Eugene, Oregon to face the Ducks. Oregon is an explosive team and their stadium is one of the loudest in all of college football.

Mark Dantonio is going into his eighth year and has done an outstanding job. He and his staff have brought in players who fit their style and system. When Dantonio took this program over State was at very low point. He built it up and has brought his team to national focus.

MSU has an experienced quarterback in Connor Cook. The running game is led by Jeremy Langford and the defense is led by the defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi. He is regarded as one of top flight assistants in all collage football.

This season should be a memorable one if most of the starters stay healthy. MSU is in good hands with Mark Dantonio!
