The Lansing Lugnuts used a 14-hit attack, including a pair of home runs by first baseman Kacy Clemens to lead the 'Nuts to an easy 13-5 victory over their arch-rival West Michigan Whitecaps on Saturday at Fifth Third Field.

The aforementioned Clemens went 2-5 on the day, third baseman Kevin Smith went 3-5 with a double and a triple.  Three other Lugnuts had two hits on the day as well.

With the victory, the Lugnuts move into first place in the Midwest League's Eastern Division.  They're 1 1/2 games ahead of the Whitecaps with a 15-7 record.
