Miguel Cabrera also treated the home fans with some of his talent, knocking in Ian Kinsler in the 1st inning and bringing the crowd to their feet with a home run to right field in the 7th. His day finished 2-4 with 2 RBIs.

The lineup was working top to bottom for Brad Ausmus and co. as Anthony Gose and Jose Iglesias both got RBIs from the 8 and 9 spots today.

Luis Severino took the loss for the Yankees in only his 12th career start in the Majors. The prized Yankees prospect went five innings giving up 10 hits and three earned runs. He struck out five and did not issue a walk.
