Lions To Wear Alternate Uniforms Twice This Season

The Detroit Lions announced on Monday that the team will be fashioning two different alternate uniforms in addition to their regular home and road unis this season.

They will wear their throwback jerseys for the Thanksgiving Day game against the Minnesota Vikings, and they'll wear the "Color Rush" unis for the home game against the Chicago Bears in December.

The Lions announced this spring that they would have new uniforms for the 2017 season.  They open training camp in Allen Park on July 24th.
