The Detroit Lions have signed their first round draft choice on the verge of rookie minicamp beginning in Allen Park.

The Detroit Free Press reports that linebacker Jarrad Davis will get a four-year deal worth around $10.5 million.

Davis, out of Florida, was the 21st overall pick in last month's NFL Draft.  He is expected to contend for a starting spot on the defense this coming fall.
