According to a report at wilx.com, Lansing Eastern senior Edward Darien Jackson, known as E.J., has been charged with first-degree sexual assault and unlawful imprisonment charges. The alleged incident reportedly took place on Tuesday near Eastern High School. Jackson is a multi-year varsity running back for the Quakers' football team, earning All-State honors in 2013, and is also a three year varsity basketball point guard. Jackson is reportedly being held on $40,000 bond and will have a GPS tether. wlns.com reports that the 17-year old Jackson is being charged as an adult.
