Some big games this week will result in changes for Week 5. Mason at DeWitt, Portland at Lansing Catholic, Haslett at St. Johns, Lakewood at Stockbridge, and P-W at Dansville.
Ok, on with the Week 4 rankings...
I almost put Lansing Catholic at the top spot, but the Comets winning on the road at Sexton in the CAAC opener puts them at number 1 this week.
The Cougars now have it rolling. A terrific performance by Tony Poljan gave them a surprisingly easy win over Williamston. 3-0 Portland is next.
It doesn't seem to matter who QB's this team. Rob Zimmerman's system keeps working year after year. A tough game at home versus Mason awaits.
We'll find out how good this team is on Friday night when they visit Lansing Catholic. One of the games of the year in the area.
The Vikings have two shutouts in their first three games. They've given up an average of FOUR points per game so far. St. Johns awaits in Week 4.
Lost at home to St. Johns. Injuries to QB Jarrett VanHeuvel and RB Connor Holbrook don't help. Beating DeWitt on the road on Friday will be tough.
Won easily against Maple Valley. The schedule gets tougher with Stockbridge and Olivet on the conference slate.
The Pirates blew out Bath 56-0 in Week 3. At Dansville will be tough this Friday. Will definitely move up if they win.
Mason Gee-Montgomery threw 8 TD passes against Leslie. EIGHT!!!!! He's got 19 TD passes through three games. That alone puts them in the poll.
Impressive 49-28 victory at Mason in Week 3. Will move up is they win against a terrific defense against Haslett.
