They'll be favored to finish 9-0 when they visit Battle Creek Pennfield this coming Friday.
The Red Raiders survived an excellent Pontiac Notre Dame Prep squad on Friday 29-27 to move to 7-1 on the year.

The Yellow Jackets made it 72 straight in the regular season with an east 55-0 win over Hemlock.
QB Joey Bentley has led the way all season long for coach Terry Hessbrook. They will be a factor again this postseason. Likely in Division 6.

Nick Boucher's crew hosts arch-rival Ionia this Friday night. A win gives them a home playoff game once again.
The Trojans had barely 100 yards in total offense, but their defense stopped Sexton inside the 20 yard line twice in the 4th quarter to salvage the win.
If they win at home against Okemos in Week 9, they could get a home playoff game in Round 1 of the playoffs.
The Vikings knocked off Williamston 20-14 to qualify for a playoff berth. They could get a home playoff game if they can win at home over Petoskey this Friday.
