A three run home run by Ian Kinsler with two outs in the ninth inning lifted the Detroit Tigers to a 4-3 win over Houston at Minute Maid Park Saturday afternoon.  Detroit (44-33) trailed the entire game to that point falling behind 2-0 in the first. Houston (35-47) took the lead on a 2 run single from Alex Presley. Detroit then closed the gap to 2-1 in the fifth on an RBI from Eugenio Suarez. Max Scherzer earned a no decision despite striking out 13 in seven innings. Phil Coke (1-1) earned the win, Joe Nathan gave up a solo home run to Presley in the bottom of the ninth before closing the game for his 17th save. Jerome Williams (1-4) who served up the homer to Kinsler, took the loss. The two teams conclude their series SUnday afternoon when Drew Smyly (4-6) will take the hill for the Tigers while Scott Feldman (3-5) starts for Houston.
