The Toronto Blue Jays completed a sweep of their three game series with the Detroit Tigers 7-3 Thursday afternoon at Comerica Park. Toronto (37-24) broke open a 3-3 game in the sixth innings with back to back home runs by Juan Francisco and Brett Lawrie to open a 6-3 lead. Melky Cabrera capped off the scoring with a solo shot in the seventh. Detroit (31-25) opened up a 2-0 lead with an RBI triple by Ian Kinsler and an RBI from Torii Hunter. Kinsler tied the game at three with an RBI single in the fourth inning.  J.A. Happ (5-2) pitched 6 1/3 innings for the win and Casey Janssen earned his 10th save, Justin Verlander (6-5) took the loss. Detroit will next face the World Series champion Boston Red Sox for a weekend series starting Friday night. Drew Smyly (2-4) will pitch for the Tigers while Rubby De La Rosa (1-0) will start for the Sox. Pregame coverage beings at 6:40pm on Lansing's Big Talker 1240 WJIM.
