ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter is reporting that the Jacksonville Jaguars are taking the interim title from Doug Marrone making him the full-time head coach.

Marrone took over as the interim coach when Gus Bradley was fired after week 14, the Jags never won more than five games during his tenure as head coach.

In 2014 Marrone was fired as head coach of the Buffalo Bills after posting a 15-17 record in two years. He joined Jacksonville's coaching staff as an assistant head coach and offensive line coach in 2016 and was 1-1 as the interim.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are the first team to fill their head coaching vacancy.
