Islanders take down Red Wings, 2-1

The Detroit Red Wings suffered their 5th straight game against the New York Islanders tonight in Hockeytown, 2-1. Heinrik Zetterberg got the game started about halfway into the 1st period with a back hand goal. The Islanders tied the game up when Brock Nelson scored a wrist shot. In the 2nd, Anders Lee scored with the backhand to take the lead and the win. The Red Wings take on The Maple Leafs on Sunday, pregame coverage starts at 5:40 PM On Lansing's Big Talker, 1240 AM, WJIM.
