The Seattle Seahawks have beaten their self-imposed deadline and have agreed to a contract extension with starting QB Russell Wilson.

The deal is for 4 years, $87.6 million.  $31 million in a signing bonus and almost $60 million in guarantees.

Wilson has led the Seahawks to the Super Bowl the last two seasons, including a victory in Super Bowl XLVIII over Denver.
