There's no official announcement yet, but the Cleveland Cavaliers reported earlier this week that they will play their final preseason game for the upcoming season at the Jack Breslin Student Events Center on the campus of Michigan State University.

According to the Cavaliers website, they will play the Detroit Pistons on October 12th at the Breslin Center.  Both the Pistons and Cavaliers owners, Tom Gores and Dan Gilbert respectively, are Michigan State alums.  And Gilbert has given money to his former school to help their basketball program.

This will be the first NBA preseason game to be played at the Breslin Center since 2000.  That's when the Detroit Pistons faced the Utah Jazz in another preseason contest.
